The upper back is one of the most important areas to strengthen. Many golfer focus on the front part of the body, which is important, however the strengthening the back of the shoulder and upper back is paramount. Strengthening the upper back muscles improves power and posture, and prevents shoulder injuries. This exercise combines leg stability with arm and upper back strength. Be sure to maintain proper posture in the low back when performing. This is an advanced exercise so make sure you are using proper form and light weight.
