More often than not we see people over training for events like the mini-marathon. The most common injury we see is anterior knee pain. Stretching the hip flexor can help prevent anterior knee pain. If you start to notice pain in the knee do not run through it. Seek medical advice and “nip it in the bud”.
Technique- pull abdominals in firmly. Gently lean hips forward while keeping back straight. Should feel in thigh of leg with knee on ground.
